Mel C splits from boyfriend
Mel C has split from her boyfriend of ten years, property developer Thomas Starr.
The former Spice Girl has broken up with her long-term partner, Thomas Starr, with whom she has a three-year-old daughter, Scarlet.
A spokesperson for Mel - who is currently acting as a judge on Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical TV talent search show Superstar - confirmed the separation to The Sun newspaper.
The 38-year-old singer met the 45-year-old property developer on holiday in Barbados in 2002, and the pair have since lived together in north London.
News of the split has shocked the showbiz world and comes just weeks a few months after Mel insisted she wanted more children with Thomas.
She said: "I'd love to have more! I definitely like to have at least one more but yeah you never know what life holds so that's something I'm hoping for in the future."
However, the star did recently admit she had no plans to marry Thomas, despite the fact they had been together for so many years
When asked by BANG Showbiz if she had any marriage plans, she said: "Nope, no change there. We're very happy the way that we are. We have talked about it but we're cool, we're happy where we are."
