Heidi Montag's plastic surgeries 'weren't disastrous'

The former Hills star underwent 10 cosmetic procedures in one day in 2010 and although she wouldn't want to go through the process again she insists the cosmetic procedures went well. 

The 25-year-old reality star told Celebuzz: "It could have been really disastrous. I lived and I learned, and I wouldn't really recommend it for other people. 

"It was a lot harder than I thought it would be going through it - physically, mentally, emotionally and the recovery. I'm just glad it's done and that everything healed so well."

Heidi - who married her 'Hills' co-star Spencer Pratt in 2008 - says she has moved on from her troubled time on the MTV show and now feels like a different person.

She confessed: "It was a lot more than I could have expected. I really hate talking about it now because it was so long ago. 

"I was a much different person back then to who I am now."

The sexy blonde has since dabbled with a career in music and she wants to begin afresh and prove to people she shouldn't be defined by her surgeries. 

Heidi said: "I know I'll never be able to get away from a lot of [my past], but I won't give up trying to prove I'm more than just that."
