Five minutes with Gaby Roslin

TV presenter, health and fitness advocate, and the new face of Seven Seas, Gaby Roslin answered our quick fire questions.

The presenter who has become a firm favourite in the UK presenting on some of the UK's biggest shows including The Big Breakfast, Children In Need - and most recently - guest presenter for Lorraine, has teamed up with Seven Seas due to her passion for keeping healthy.

Here's what we found out when we quizzed her:

What got you interested in healthy living?
I’ve been banging on about health and fitness for years but my mother’s passing definitely made me re-evaluate my lifestyle. I am now even more particular about what I feed my body.

Why would you recommend Seven Seas Perfect7 supplement for women?
A healthy lifestyle isn’t just about diet. It’s so important you put the right things into your body. I understand you need the right supplements and that’s why I take Seven Seas Perfect7. It contains the omega-3 marine oil that our bodies can’t produce and a huge variety of all the vitamins and minerals we need.

We hear that 50 is the new 30. How do you embrace that philosophy?
I live life to the full. I’m the one that’s jumping out of bed every morning! Positivity is key.

Do you have any beauty secrets that you can share with us?
What you put in is what you get out so I’d definitely say eating healthily will show on the outside. I take Perfect7 and splash water on my face first thing in the morning and I’ll cleanse last thing at night.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Crisps! Or if really needed, a flapjack for a carb feast, laden with honey and dried fruits.

What would you tell your 21 self if you could go back in time?
To not apologise for being happy. People always used to ask why I was so happy so I’d keep saying sorry all the time. I stopped apologising about being happy a long time ago!

How do you juggle motherhood and a career?
My children will always come first. I’ll still do the school runs even if my schedule is hectic. I’m a Mummy first and a working Mummy second.

What makes you passionate?
Television presenting. I’ve wanted to be a television presenter since the age of three and now I’ve fulfilled my childhood dream. There’s something quite extraordinary about that.

What has been your career highlight to date?
I’ve presented on so many amazing shows. A recent highlight would be appearing on Lorraine. I was absolutely delighted. I adore Lorraine, she’s fabulous!

What would you love to do next either personally or professionally
I think as long as my family and I are healthy and happy, that is all I wish for. I’m following my dreams; that’s what my parents told and me and that’s what I tell my kids.
