Fancy a laugh? The Underbelly Festival is back

The giant purple cow is back at the Southbank.

Each spring the Underbelly Festival entertains crowds within the 400-seat venue, with this year's venue running rom now until July 17th.

There's a mix of entertainment, from outlandish cabaret to daytime - it's OK to take the kids shows - to the biggest of names in comedy.

For those of you who fancy a bevvie, there's the outdoor bar and a selection of upmarket food stalls which can be enjoyed with or without a ticket.

Alongside the festival, there's the London Wonderground – a huge spiegel tent playing host to circus, cabaret and much more (but it doesn't open until May 5th).

Highlights from this year's festival include Card Ninja, David Morgan, Ed Gamble to help you laugh your socks off. Closer by Circa (circus) and family fun with Brainiac Live and the Amazing Bubble Man.

Tickets for this year's Udderbelly Festival are available at underbelly.co.uk or by phoning 08445 458252.
