Why you need to attend the next Be:Fit London

No matter what your fitness level, this event is so much fun!

The Business Design Centre in Islington was the destination for the UK’s biggest female focussed fitness event which took place over three days, and saw women on every level having a great time.

The Reebox fitness centre was home to an array of classes we managed to squeeze in a few.  With a double of Tara Styles yoga and Barry’s Bootcamp and Core Collective's Velocity on Saturday, we probably took it more easy than most. This is a great way to sample different classes if you're undecided as to what you want to sign up to at a fitness centre. Although in our case, we loved all three classes and are torn as to where we're actually going to sign up to!

The classes were in high demand and with only a limited amount of pre-booked tickets and VIP guest but that didn't seem to be too much of a worry. It could’ve turned into a fight getting into the classes that you wanted but the security was excellent and the staff managed to fit in as many people as possible.

The atmosphere in the classes was super-friendly, and we’re not just talking about the instructors. There was a really nice we’re all girls in this together and there were women of every levels encouraging each other along  or grabbing advice about other classes they were attending during the day.

There was Hod Pod Yoga and Yes To Ride studio, as well as a silent disco. Plenty of exercise for all.

Then there were the freebies. There were so many stands giving away tasty treats such as Nakd, Trek and Metcalfe’s Skinny Popcorn. OK, the idea was to tempt you then purchase their goodies but there were no pushy sales people so we happily bought  an item or twelve.

Oatly Kitchen were hosting the cooking  stage, with some great guests so as well as sampling their to-die-for chocolate milk, you could watch Clean Eating Alice,  Emily Cohen and Tess Ward making some great stuff.

This season’s bright and bold fitness clothing was on display with my stands where you could update your fitness wardrobe.  Being sponsored by Reebox, they were naturally there but there were also some smaller labels for a more unique look.

Not only that, you could gain advice on health and fitness from a range of other stands and lose a day there.

Hats off to the staff.  They were pretty amazing, and not just the people trying to tempt you into parting with your cash and taking home tasty treats, protein powders or supplements, even down to the security staff and the women working in the cloakroom.

We recommend you book tickets for the next event. Watch this space for more details…
