Check out the latest food craze taking over London!

If you haven’t heard of Freakshakes, we’re pretty sure you’ll be seeing them all over social media really soon.
The Aussie food trend has made it’s way over to London and people are going crazy over these insane milkshakes!
What are Freakshakes? They’re essentially milkshakes, except they are bigger and a whole lot better. Freakshakes start with a flavoured milkshake as its base, covered with a whole load of cream, and then it is topped with pretty much anything you want, from an entire glazed donut to chocolate ice cream cake.
If you live in London and want to get your hands (and mouths!) on one, here are the hotspots that sell Freakshakes for you to have a try. As expected, they are very popular so expect huge queues on weekend.
Maxwell’s
In the heart of Covent Garden lies Maxwell’s, a Bar and Grill serving up delicious food and drinks, and of course, the Freakshakes. Maxwell’s claim that they are home to the Freakshakes as they have been serving up these shakes since last September. The restaurant changes the flavours of the Freakshakes monthly so every time you go to Maxwell’s, there will hopefully be a nice new combination for you to try and tackle.
Molly Bakes
Molly Bakes is situated in the East of London in trendy Dalston. Here, the freakshakes are available in four different flavours – Chocoalte, Peanut Butter, Raspberry and Salted Caramel. At Molly Bakes, you get to personalise your very own shake by choosing your own toppings. From brownies to cookie dough, marshmallows to honeycomb, all made by Molly Bakes themselves, the world is your oyster!
The Canvas Café
For those who are perhaps lactose intolerant, vegan or gluten free and fear they are missing out on this trend, fear not as The Canvas Café in Shoreditch have now created a Vegan and Gluten-Free Freakshake! Instead of the traditional dairy ice cream, The Canvas Café uses Coconut and Soya Milk to create their ice cream and their whipped ‘cream.’ Cakes are replaced by raw, vegan, gluten and sugar free cakes such as raspberry and beetroot, coconut and matcha and chocolate and avocado. It is then covered with sauces and nuts.
