Queen set for Glastonbury?

Queen are in line to headline Glastonbury Festival.

The legendary rock band - which sees newest frontman Adam Lambert joined by founding members Brian May and Roger Taylor - is wanted by the event organisers, and could make their first-ever appearance in 2015.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Glastonbury is just one of the possible destination. The band would love to have a go."

The 'We Are the Champions' hitmakers have never played at the iconic Worthy Farm festival, but it could happen next year following their recently-announced UK arena tour in January as part of a longer trip round Europe.

Meanwhile, frontman Adam - who first performed with the group in 2008 - has revealed he has total control over his style, and isn't forced to emulate the late Freddie Mercury with his on-stage outfits.

He told The Sun newspaper: "Brian May said Freddie would get a big kick out of me, and as a huge fan of Freddie, that meant the world to me.

"But styling-wise it's all up to me and I like to have a bit of fun with that."
